Founder and President
Michael Foss, M.B.A., is founder and president of FOSS Business Solutions, a managed cloud accounting and virtual bookkeeping firm for small businesses.
Mike received his M.B.A. from Cleveland State University and B.S from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. Mike’s career has spanned multiple industries, including Sport Management, Stadium Operations, Entertainment, Event Management, Technology, Automotive, Internet, Retail, Restaurant, and Business Services.
With over 20 years of experience working with hundreds of small businesses in various industries, Mike has developed an expertise for the unique, dynamic needs of companies in transition with revenues up to $25M. Mike has experience leading transitional environments such as turnarounds, startups, rapid growth, acquisitions, downsizing, divestures, and outsourcing. In these environments, Mike has successfully provided financial management, budgeting and control, accounting and reporting, human resources, IT, insurance, and contract negotiation. He has a successful history of having a positive impact on growth, profitability, cash flow and working capital management with his proven methods.
In his free time, Mike can be found traveling with his family or coaching baseball and football for his three sons.

As Controller for FOSS Business Solutions, Jennifer is responsible for managing work flows and overseeing virtual bookkeeping operations.
In addition to day-to-day accounting activities for clients, Jennifer provides quality control for financial reporting for clients, and assists clients with cloud accounting integrations.
Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University and her Professional Bookkeeper and QuickBooks Specialist designations from The Universal Accounting Center.
For more than 15 years, Jennifer has provided expert accounting services to clients as diverse as restaurants, real estate companies, and manufacturing companies. Jennifer has worked in a variety of accounting and finance roles, starting as an accounting clerk, and eventually moving into Senior Accountant and Controller.
Clients benefit from her many years of QuickBooks experience, she provides them with the expertise in setting up company files as well as training business owners and their staff on how to use the system in order to get their desired results.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and during the football season, watching her all-time favorite team, The Cleveland Browns.
