Mike Foss
Founder and President
Michael Foss, M.B.A., is founder and president of FOSS Business Solutions, a managed cloud accounting and virtual bookkeeping firm for small businesses.
Mike received his M.B.A. from Cleveland State University and B.S from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. Mike’s career has spanned multiple industries, including Sport Management, Stadium Operations, Entertainment, Event Management, Technology, Automotive, Internet, Retail, Restaurant, and Business Services.
With over 20 years of experience working with hundreds of small businesses in various industries, Mike has developed an expertise for the unique, dynamic needs of companies in transition with revenues up to $25M. Mike has experience leading transitional environments such as turnarounds, startups, rapid growth, acquisitions, downsizing, divestures, and outsourcing. In these environments, Mike has successfully provided financial management, budgeting and control, accounting and reporting, human resources, IT, insurance, and contract negotiation. He has a successful history of having a positive impact on growth, profitability, cash flow and working capital management with his proven methods.
In his free time, Mike can be found traveling with his family or coaching baseball and football for his three sons.

Carolyn Foss
Owner, Virtual Bookkeeping
Carolyn Foss provides virtual bookkeeping and managed cloud accounting services to clients and oversees administrative functions for FOSS Business Solutions, including marketing and recruiting. Carolyn received a Bachelor degree from the University of Vermont and a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University.
Prior to FOSS Business Solutions, Carolyn worked in Gift Planning at the Cleveland Clinic.
Carolyn is active on various boards and committees, and has served in leadership roles at Communion of Saints School at St. Ann Church in Cleveland Heights.
Originally from South Bend, IN, Carolyn is a huge Notre Dame sports fan. Away from the office, Carolyn enjoys chasing around her three sons.
